Diabetes and Stroke Self Management Made Easy

Cerenovus aneurysm device for Treating Intracranial Aneurysms

Stroke is a deadly disease that affects 15 million people yearly, with hemorrhagic lesions contributing to 13 percent of total strokes. Hemorrhagic strokes are caused by aneurysms, which occur when a weak point of a vasculature expands till it punctures thus bleeding into the brain.

Cerenovus’ BRAVO Flow Diverter device, that could be used to cure patients with cerebral aneurysms, has acquired European CE mark approval. The device will reroute blood flow away from the aneurysm, promoting healing and lowering the chance of rupture, which is a leading cause of hemorrhagic stroke.

“I feel the BRAVO Flow Diverter’s design, notably the proximal and distal expansion rings, offers a novel approach to aneurysm treatment.” said Professor Patrick Brouwer Senior Consultant Neurointerventionalist at Karolinska University Hospital and Evaluator for BRAVO Flow Diverter

CERENOVUS has entered the flow diverter market with the BRAVO Flow Diverter, adding to its extensive array of endovascular gadgets for hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke management. The device’s novel design intends to increase physician efficiency of use, enhance cost effectiveness, and shorten procedure times.
